Driving change! The Sports Trust Charity Golf returns at Broome Park

Broome Park hosted our second successful Charity Golf Day of the season!
We saw some familiar faces turn up and welcomed some new faces, all there with the same purpose to raise money to make a real difference to many people’s lives.
Following our first successful Charity Golf Day in June, this event was all about raising funds to support children on free school meals and low-income families in attending our Free Holiday Camps. These camps offer kids the chance to stay active, have fun, and connect with others in a safe, welcoming environment — completely free of charge.
As ever, we want to say a massive thank you to everyone who got stuck in and supported the event – from the early risers setting things up, to golfers giving it their all, to every single person who donated, clapped, laughed, and helped turn the day into something unforgettable.
Big shoutout to our amazing prize donors – your generosity helped us raise even more for a great cause! Of course, thank you to everyone who grabbed a ticket and made the raffle such a winner.
As a small charity with a big mission, The Sports Trust relies on the generous support of individuals, funders, and organisations to continue our work. Every donation helps us break down barriers and bring the power of sport and physical activity to those who need it most.
If you didn’t get a chance to donate on the day but still want to help us change lives through sport, you can do so via our JustGiving page:
Thank you once again for helping us create opportunities, open doors, and inspire the next generation to love sport — whatever their motivation may be.
